Delaney Morin is an up and coming artist based in Troy, NY. She’s currently studying visual arts at SUNY New Paltz. She previously participated in BOCES’ Visual and Performing Arts program her senior year of high school and has continued pursuing her passions into college. She hopes you enjoy her work and all the other artists works in the market!
Artist’s Statement:
This mural is an artistic interpretation of retired postal stamps from the US. The fruits and veggies focused on in this piece are all goods you can frequently find in the indoor market. Delaney herself works as a market assistant and wanted this piece to be a love letter to Troy Waterfront Farmer’s Market itself; A love letter to all the greatness these vendors do for the community here in Troy.
