Artist’s Statement:

Early Girl, named for my favorite type of tomato, was inspired by botanical illustrations, Shaker seed boxes, and the bounty of local produce found at the Troy Farmers Market. I love the curving lines and rounded edges of the fruits and flora on display, both on this wall and throughout the building on market days.
