The Artist
My name is Leah Bliven. I have been creative since a small child and feel blessed I have had this outlet for my mind, body and spirit. I started selling my artwork and really teaching myself to grow and evolve as an artist in 2012. I am inspired by life, consciousness, self-awareness, intuition, politics and energy. (the list can continue, life is vast!) I am recently been inspired by neo-expressionism, only with my own twist (keep your eyes peeled for all my new pieces in the making). Also, I love figure painting, portraits and landscapes. There are a lot of hidden meanings and symbols in my work, to the way the body is posed, to straight in your face neo-expressionism and subtle abstract pieces. The Mural
The mural I have created for TWFM was inspired by community, coming together abundantly - we all can exchange, give and receive and help one another out. From local sources of food, crafts and conversation.
I participated in this mural project to actually start adding murals onto my resume and career options. I LOVE LARGE SCALE PAINTINGS... did that caps show that excitement!? My experience was full of inspiration and excitement.
